Laboratory
The main job of the BILSTEIN laboratories is, of course, ensuring the consistently high quality of our products. Our quality control experts inspect basic materials as they arrive and approve our products before shipping to make sure that standards, material specifications and customer requirements have all been met. The test results also provide feedback about the production process, thus enabling continuous optimization of our processes and products.
The second most important task of our laboratories is to provide technical support to our customers. Our experts are available to answer questions about materials technology, for example, by conducting analyses or providing specific material data.
The range of the testing options in the BILSTEIN laboratories is broadly diversified:
Mechanical properties:
- Tensile test for compliance with DIN EN ISO 6892-1
- Erichsen cupping test for compliance with DIN EN ISO 20482
